Delete your account

You can permanently delete your PokerBox account and all the data associated with it at any time. Here’s exactly what happens and how to do it.

Delete from inside the app

Open PokerBox and go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the account section and choose Delete Account (also labelled “Delete All Data”).
Confirm the prompt. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your data from both your device and our servers, including:

Your account and profile (email, name, profile photo).
All sessions, transactions, and bankroll settings.
Recorded hands and their transcripts.
Staking relationships, action packages, and buyer records.
Achievements, referral data, and app preferences.

What may be retained

We delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (for example, transaction records kept for tax or audit purposes). Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained. Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google — deleting your account does not cancel it, so cancel from your App Store or Google Play account settings as well.

If you can’t access the app, email us from your account address at [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account” and we’ll process the request and confirm when it’s complete.
